Hoffman composite toe armor pro 8 inch – I have now used these boots one year for work, I am very hard on boots not getting the expected life out of the other brands . The only thing showing any wear is the sole , and it still has years left in it . The boot had very little break in time and is as comfortable as high end mountaineering boots. Excellent job Hoffman Boots ! .

Love the boot, but it does have some definite flaws – I bought these boots to climb in as well as have a super comfortable groundman boot. They are defiantly comfortable for walking. Like any other boot ; though, your feet will eventually get sore after hours of standing. The dual steel shank holds of to the test of climbing. Even with the shorter then normal climbing heel, my gaffs stay in place. Now for the big flaws. First minor flaw is that they aren’t breathable what so ever. Your feet will sweat unbelievably bad. My pair is ungodly smelly. Flaw number two is the soles of these wear out much too quickly. Within two months of having these, I had holes in both heels and toes of my soles. Last but not least, I’ve had these for about 9 months now and one of my lacing eyes just broke off. Now, all the flaws being stated, I would still recommend. I would buy another pair, although, I will tryna different style first considering these were my first pair of Hoffman’s. If they would fix a couple design laws and possibly use some better materials, they’d have an A boot. I would give these a solid B .

Great for Winter – I have had them 5 months summer they were to warm. Started putting them on in the start of winter and WOW!!! Best boots ever hands down I have been a powerline tree trimmer for 12 years and tried everything. I have found my winter boots!!!

Sold – Have been wearing these boots for about 8 weeks as a line boot, and can say I am sold!! Shanks are not quit up to my pole climbers, but are still better than most other brand lineboots I have purchased. Only complaint is stark finish is not very breathable, but they don’t leak so pick your poison

Wow – Second year with the boots I bought from you, still as comfortable and in good shape as the day I bought them, been through a lot of places where I stepped on nails, not one nail ever made it through the sole to my foot, love these boots

Awesome – Kyle Garcia: My armor pro with safety toe have been impenetrable. I work in the forestry world, hunting, to timber Harvests, stream crossings, muddy trails (hopefully not) to unloading wood chips from a train. Great boot in 2 years with no issues. Best boot ever meets premature death – After over 3 years of daily abuse, and wondering how long they would last, an unfortunate bin latch failure caused one of my beloved armor pros to meet its demise on a highway being run over multiple times. These are hands down the best boots I’ve ever owned by a large margin, I’ve had dozens of boots over the years from the “highest end” to the cheap wanna be’s and none of them hold a candle to the armor pro. They wear harder than iron and have stayed water proof their whole lives. Absolutely can’t recommend them enough. Great job to Hoffman for making such a killer boot that is a better value in the long run than anything else on the market!
