This 10" calk boot contains many excellent features including a water-resistant liner that helps keep your feet dry. Replaceable calks and a cushion mid-sole and inner-sole provide all day comfort. **Note: Once Hoffman's has added a calk sole to this boot, neither Hoffman's or Danner will no longer warranty the waterproofness of the boot. Available in uninsulated and insulated with 400gr.thinsulate.

    I am a logger and live in western Montana, I purchased the Danner Trooper boot online not knowing what to expect exactly. I have worn several different types of boots over the years, some good....some bad. This boot however is the best boot I have ever worn by far !I ordered the boots with a spring heal and Hoffman's did a fantastic job on the soles as usual. In rainy conditions my feet stay nice and dry thanks to the gortex lining and I have never worn a boot so comfortable. After a 2 day break in period they fit perfect. So If you are looking for a good boot and not sure what to buy, I would suggest giving the Danner Trooper a try, your feet will thank you. They are spendy but well worth the money ! Mark-The Logger.

    hands down the best calks i have ever worn! by far the most comfortable boots i have ever worn. well worth the $300 i spent on them at the local saw shop.

    Im a logger from southwest virginia, who works in steep terrain. So I needed a tough work boots with calks, and that what i got when i bought a pair of Troopers. These boots are tough and live up to the despriction in the catalog. They are also very comfortable and worth every penny spent.

    I am a forester who bought a pair of Troopers when I was in college. They served me through 4 internships and 3 years as a practicing forester. I am ordering a replacement set because nothing beats a danner boot, except a danner boot with Hoffman calks. Very comfortable and there is nothing better than dry feet at the end of a hard-hikin, rainy day.
