Jim - I just wanted to send you an email to let you know how much I still like these boots! I had a big project here in North Carolina back in June when it was hot. I was on the pole all day in the heat and my feet did not overheat on me. The boots were comfortable enough to work all aspects of our job in power generation and distribution. I just recently returned from Virginia on another training mission this time in a foot of snow and freezing temperatures. Again my feet were good in these boots working all aspects of our job in the Army. This is a quality product that I showed to my leadership and will be in meetings to try to make this part of all of our peoples proper equipment for the job. Thank you for the opportunity to test these and keep them as I still use them all the time. Attached are some photos to show you what they have been through. Thanks again.

Thank you, R. Owen

I received my boots on Dec.13. The UPS guy came during near whiteout conditions. We eventually got 12" of snow. I wore them to work the next day. We got 5" more today (Dec.16). My feet have remained warm and dry throughout. They fit perfectly. I am very happy with them and look forward to many years of service from them. Rob Rankin Wrentham,MA

One year old boots, 10 days in the Adirondacks when they were new I averaged 5 miles a day hunting. They were excellent. I got the high 14" but now wish I stuck with 10 or 12 because after they are broken in, they seem to want to walk down your leg but you can deal with it. I didn't have a sweat problem except for warmer days but change out the felts dry the boots and keep on hunting. Sitting still for several hours in 12 degree weather was no problem. Great on all terrain. Can't wait to wear them this year now that the are broken in. Soupy,NY

These are excellent boots. A solid investment for your money. I bought them for deer hunting in south central Pennsylvania. When i rifle hunt I sit still and patiently wait for a shot oppurtunity. The temperature is usually in the mid to low 20's with it being colder up in the mountains. I purchased the felt lined boots since I believed that they would be warmer than the 200 gram thinsulate lined boots. I will say that these are excellent boots but they are just not warm enough for my feet while i am silently waiting in the woods. If i am moving and walking around my feet are very warm. My feet are also pleasantly padded from the shock of my foot striking the ground as I walk. I have size 10.5 EE feet so i got size 11 boots in he 12 inch heighth. The width and length are both good, especially for a winter boots. They are large enough to prevent retriction of circulation in my feet and I wear two pairs of socks to keep the boot snug but not tight.I might have benn able to comfortably wear size 10 boots but i didn't want to take a chance on having a retricting fit. Once the leather gets broken in it seems to slip a little down your leg so that about an inch of the liner sticks out the top which isnt a big deal to me. (I am just making note of it.) I purchased seam sealer and boot dressing with my boots and applied both this winter. I have walked through shin deep water and slushy wet snow and emearged with dry feet.I wouldn't press my luck in using them like rubber wading boots, but quick crossings and hours in wet snow present me with no trepidations. I am satisfied that i invested in an excellent piece of equipment for winter use. I give them 4 stars instead of a full 5 stars only because I literally have cold feet and need a heavier insulated boot for my comfort. Judged soley on quality and fit they would whole heartedly recieve 5 stars.
