The Trooper Lineman Boot has fast become the boot that lineman associate with comfort and easy break-in. . We've taken a 7 oz. leather upper and added a thick, cushioned crepe mid-sole for comfort. Next, our dual steel shanks are added for outstanding climbing support. Your choice of a Vibram or claw sole (VIBRAM SOLE ONLY WITH STEEL TOE) completes this boot. Available in uninsulated or insulated with 400 gram Thinsulate. Note: The Trooper has a waterproof liner. Although failure is rare in the waterproof construction of this boot,Hoffman's will not warranty the waterproofness of this boot.

It’s not a motto, it’s a Fact. NOTHING climbs like a Hoffman. Don’t waste your time or money with other brands. No “break in” period for me. Just out of the box comfort and support. Dual Shanks + Comfort Midsole = Climbers Heaven. My Wesco’s have been cast into the deepest darkest corner of my closet.
Been climbing for 23 years; I've tried just about every boot made. This is by far the best lineman boot on the planet. The "Claw" sole disperses mud instead of packing it. Well worth the money!!!!
boots are very comfortable on a pole. easy break in. they run kinda small I would buy next half size larger.
