FITTING TIPS: Hoffman felt pacs run true to size. Whole size: order the same. Half size: order down (i.e.: 9 1/2 would order 9) unless you have a wide foot.

I bought a pair of Hoffman Lineman Felt Pac boots for this past winter in Colorado. My feet were the warmest part of my body on the days we were below zero. Very comfortable to climb in, although you may need longer straps on your climbers. I had to grab the tag end of my straps with linemans pliers to pull them tight enough to use the 2nd hole. One thing I learned when wearing these everyday is you either need to buy an extra set of felt liners and rotate them daily, or put the boots on a dryer overnight once a week. The felt will accumulate moisture over time from condensation and persperation and your feet will get cold. Dryness is key to warmth. Overall, great boot, good traction on ice and snow, very nice thick leather upper, a well made boot.
I purchased a pair of these babies a couple years ago...I have to say that they are amazing. My feet haven't been cold once. I was surprised that my spurs fit over them no problem. They really are like walking on pillows! They handle our Canadian winters no problem...get some and stay warm.
The 14" Hoffman Lineman Felt Pacs are a great boot.An ice storm in the Northeast followed by 18 inches of snow and temps in the teens were not a match for these boots. I laced them up at 5am and didn't take them off until 11pm.12 days straight on mutual aid.Warm,comfortable,dry feet.Awesome product
I recently bought a pair of Hoffman Lineman Felt Pacs, and they are the warmest, most comfortable boots I own, well, they are equal to my Hoffman Pole Climbers. There was no break-in, they feel like I have pillows on my feet all day, and they keep my feet dry and toasty all day long. Between my Felt Pacs and my Pole Climbers, my feet are happier than ever before.
