I use my Hoffman Pro Series boots with the Predator sole at my job in the South Pole and this is my eighth season with them. The rubber quality is outstanding but I finally need new soles. These boots have lasted me really well, I am very satisfied with them.
Thank you, Doug

The new 10” Hoffman Fire Boss is built with the wildland firefighter in mind. Heavy 7 ½ oz. oil tanned leather upper provides protection and long time wear. A thick leather midsole is double stitched and adds stability while allowing for the boots to be resoled. A rugged Vibram outsole provides long time wear and is both heat glued and screwed for performance. We’ve also added a ruff-out vamp and a sturdy heel counter that help complete this boot. Finally, leather laces, a contour cushion insole and a tongue protector make this boot a great choice. If you’re job is fighting fires or your just needing a solid, durable work boot, try a pair of our Fire Boss boots.

These are my first pair of Hoffman Boots and I'm very impressed. The quality of workmanship and material that went into constructing the FIREBOSS is top of the line A1. For example, the heel leather is stout and completely encompasses my heel up to the fourth eyelet so my foot doesn't roll ( I do a lot of side hill work)_The upper is just the right amount of snugness and supports my ankles perfectly. A bit of an extended break in time but I wouldn't expect anything less from thick leathered, well made boot. Thanks Hoffman's for a great product!

I'm in my 35th year of wildland fire fighter. Best boot for the Cost and I work in the woods like a man. Not a wimp in the office or a computer butt person. On my second pair and I'm a X- Hotshot. Walt Carter.

Great boot -don't make these boots with Kevlar thread. that material becomes brittle and boots fall apart.

I've had these boots for a year now made it through the first season just fine the soles took a little to break in but now they are very comfortable and stand up great by far the best wildland boot for the price I wear them everyday and would recommend them to anyone... one thing to keep in mind if you buy a wider boot you may want to get different insoles cause the ones that come with it are a little narrow
